The Application Process

These are the steps each applicant goes through.

1. Fill out application

2. A Meet and Greet meeting will be scheduled, so you can learn more about our team and ask questions in person.

3. Applicants under consideration will be invited to attend at least 3 team meetings for further consideration.

4. If the team and applicant agree they would like to continue working together they formally join the team by paying annual dues and registering with Team 5937 on the FIRST website.

Important Information

Renaissance Robotics team Meetings are held in Apopka.

Regular weekly meetings are on Fridays from noon - 5:00 pm. During competition season, an additional weekday practice is required.

Home internet access is required for weekly online meet-ups and homework.

Additional practice and make-up days are available twice a month, typically on the 2nd and 4th Wednesday.

Requests for other practice days can often be accommodated, especially during tournament season.

Demos and Fundraising events often happen on weekends.

Team members need access to email to check the assigned homework and upcoming events.
